Review - BoA: Girls on Top

Got Girls on Top yesterday. Boy she looks so gorgeous with long black hair, even her B&W pics reminds me of Hikki in Deep River days (I hope she won't release Freak in Me as single...that'd be too much like Utada's Devil in Me ^^) As with the music, 1/3 rock, 1/3 hip hop, 1/3 standard Korean pop (melanchonic with emphasis on choir and strings)...obviously she aims for international audience (i.e. cosmopolitan SE Asians and Korean Americans). Again, in order to distinguish herself from other SM artists, esp. her archrival Jang Nara. The song I'm listening now is a typical Korean pop. I quickly like her dorama-esque songs, but with the rock ones, probably it'd be acquired taste (surprised myself that now I'm okay with My Name and Spark). Edit: Listening to Garden in the Air...Japanese style R&B...this is definitely the best song in the album.
