It's been three years...
Since October 2006.
Since then I've generally stopped writing in Bahasa Indonesia. Now if my fingers are on the keyboard, immediately I think in English, and I also prefer to communicate in English.
Looking back, I wished I had stayed in Australia. But previous posts would show that I felt I didn't fit in there. Well I don't really fit in here in Indonesia either :).
Anyway, I successfully completed my thesis and received Second Class (Upper) Honours degree. I taught in an international (i.e. using Cambridge syllabus) school and I enjoyed it. I've written many articles for The Jakarta Post, and I've reunited with some friends through CHOICE.
2008, however, was a lost year. I did traveling and doing several things I hadn't done before - but it was an overlong hiatus. It keeps going until this first half of 2009 :). Well, it was fun.
And on hindsight, I might have not lost too much.
